All of Pride's rig personnel must meet the highest standard of technical competencies. To help ensure this, our technical training group aligns the needed skill set with the company's objectives.

Part of today's market place is the ever increasing need for trained personnel. In an effort to accelerate learning, we manage the Pride Accelerated Development Program.

To assure the quality of Pride training, field employees attend training at the Pride worldwide training centers.

The Pride training center in Lescar, France, offers courses on every level from Roustabout to Tool Pusher. To prove our dedication to training, we have committed over two million dollars to rebuild the current facility. The new training center will include eight classrooms and equipment spread over 300,000 sq. feet of land, enabling the instructors to host hands-on, as well as classroom instruction.  Ground was broken on May 28, beginning the construction phase for the new center. Completion is expected during the second quarter of 2009.

We are pleased to announce the building of a Subsea training facility at the Brazil base in Macae, Brazil. This facility will service the world with concentration on Subsea specific courses.

With the help of the Angolan government, we can also offer training at the Essa training facility located in Cucuaco, Angola. A full line of courses are offered.
